Here I put up my musings about deep learning, art, and other stuff I think is cool.

I am 24 years old.

​

I've lived in Florida since I was born, but spend quite a bit of time in Australia.

​

I went to University of Florida originally to study psychology and medicine but became interested in computers along the way.

​

I first got into AI playing around with Disco Diffusion and wrote a very extensive, fun exploration on it

​

I cofounded Leonardo.Ai where I work on directing research, which is now part of Canva.

​

I am particularly interested in ​

• world models

• adaptive and sparse methods

• hierarchical modeling

• inductive biases and sample efficiency

• role of noise in learning

​

My dream is to see that machine learning is used to create higher-level experiences beyond our limited egocentric view of the world, and as a tool to better understand and communicate deeply with one another, which I wrote a bit about here.​
